What does Orbit cost once the 14 days are up?

Accepted Answer

Solo is £25 a month, Team £85, Pro £249 and Enterprise £999, all excluding VAT, or a quarter less when you pay yearly. Every plan has the same 14-day trial and the trial needs no card. What changes between plans is seats, storage, the card rate and support, with the B2B and operations tools on Enterprise.

Do you take a fee on my sales?

Accepted Answer

Nothing on top of the card rate. When a customer pays by card, the published rate for your plan is the whole cost of taking that payment: Stripe’s fee and our share are both inside it, and there is no separate platform fee per order. UK personal cards are 2% + 25p on Solo, 1.7% + 25p on Team and 1.5% + 25p on Pro and Enterprise. Business, European and international cards have their own rates on the payments page.

What costs extra?

Some plugins carry a monthly price, shown on the listing before you install; others are free. Amazon and eBay have a free tier, with paid plans for bigger catalogues. Shipping labels are bought per label. Premium themes are a one-off price, and there are free themes too. A Scale plan covers Nebula jobs bigger than the allowance. If a customer pays in another currency, Stripe converts it and charges its own conversion fee. The pricing page goes through each of them.

Can I move my Shopify or WooCommerce shop and keep my Google rankings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload your product export as it is, then your customers and past orders. Shopify product handles are kept and links to /collections/ redirect to /categories/ on their own; import your other old URLs, WooCommerce product pages included, as 301 redirects so nothing from Google lands on an error page. What comes across when I import?

Accepted Answer

Products with their images, options and variants; customers; past orders; inventory; and redirects. Shopify and WooCommerce exports import as they are, and any file laid out like the sample CSV in the import dialog goes through the column mapper. Redirects import from a file of their own, beside the product export.

Which payment methods can I take?

Accepted Answer

Card payments run through Orbit Payments, built on Stripe inside your dashboard, with no separate Stripe login. Alongside it you can take bank transfer, cash on delivery, cheque or a custom offline method, and switch on Klarna, PayPal and other wallets where Stripe offers them for your business.

What support do I get on each plan?

Accepted Answer

Email and live chat support on every plan, Solo included. Pro and Enterprise get priority live chat, and Enterprise adds a dedicated account manager.

Which plan do I need for trade accounts and price lists?

Accepted Answer

Enterprise, at £999 a month, adds company accounts, company users and per-company price lists, the operations suite for purchasing, picking and batch fulfilment, and checkout customisation. If you supply other shops rather than sell to trade yourself, the supplier programme is separate and free for your first 5 resellers.

How much AI is included, and what happens when I use it all?

Every plan includes Nebula with a monthly allowance that grows with the plan. When the allowance is used up, Nebula stops until the month resets; it never bills you for more. For a whole catalogue at once, a Scale plan sets a bigger allowance, priced on the pricing page.

What happens at the end of the trial?

If you have added a card, your plan starts when the 14 days are up. If you have not, the trial ends, nothing is charged and the store is paused with your data kept. Choose a plan whenever you are ready and it carries on where you left off.

How long does it take to launch?

Accepted Answer

A simple shop with a handful of products can be built in an afternoon: a theme, your products and payments set up. When card payments start depends on Stripe’s checks of your business. A larger catalogue with a custom design is more like a week, and wholesale, several currencies or a big import take longer. You set the pace.

Can I leave, and what do I take with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your billing settings and a paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Before you go, export products, customers, orders, inventory, categories, brands, redirects and blog posts as CSV from the dashboard.
