Built by an agency that's spent years running its own brands and shipping stores for clients — and got tired of choosing between plugin chaos and monthly app bills.
Our story
Orbit Commerce comes out of an agency that's spent years running its own brands and shipping stores for clients on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento. The same patterns kept repeating: WooCommerce sites buckling under plugin conflicts, admin dashboards that took seconds to load, servers to babysit, and tools where every job lived in a different place.
Hosted SaaS solved part of it — but traded one tax for another. Every feature you actually needed lived behind another monthly app subscription, and platform limits like three variant options, 250 images per product and capped file sizes got awkward as soon as a catalogue got serious. Nothing sat in the middle for businesses that wanted a polished store without the endless add-ons.
A platform built around the things we kept reaching for: a fast admin, bulk edits that don't lag, a visual page builder that's part of the core (not bolted on as a plugin), generous catalogue limits where most platforms cap you, and the things you'd otherwise pay monthly for — subscriptions, digital products, services alongside physical goods — included from day one.
What we believe
Built on modern web tech with speed treated as non-negotiable. The admin should feel as quick as any app you use daily, and your storefront faster than your competitors'.
No plugin sprawl, no dashboards bolted onto dashboards. Every tool you need to run a business — from products to orders to the page builder — lives in a single admin that holds together end to end.
Subscriptions, digital products, services, the page builder, generous catalogue limits, no file-type restrictions — the essentials come included. Paid add-ons exist when you actually need them, not as a wall on day one.
