The move is the same four jobs whichever platform you leave. The product file takes the most care, and your current shop keeps trading until the domain moves.

Export what you have

Download your products, customers and orders from the platform you are on, as spreadsheets. Take the exports before you change anything, and keep a copy.

Import into Orbit

Shopify and WooCommerce product exports go in as they are. From anywhere else, give the product file a spreadsheet pass first, starting from Orbit’s sample CSV; the column mapper then shows your first product before anything is written.

Rebuild the pages

Pick a free or premium theme and lay out your pages in the page builder. The new shop runs on its own myorbitcommerce.net address, so you can check every page before the switch.

Point the domain

Shopify product handles come across unchanged, and old /collections/ links forward to /categories/ on their own. Load every other old URL into the redirect importer, then move the domain. Rename a handle later and its redirect is added for you.
