Customer and order importers

Shape the file first, then match its columns.
Wix exports your product list, your contacts and your orders as CSV files. The product file needs a spreadsheet pass before you upload it, then the column mapper matches the columns it recognises, you pick fields for the rest, and your first product shows before anything is written.
Three columns to add
Wix’s product export has no Status, Is Physical or Is Taxable column. Orbit’s mapper asks for all three and names any that are missing, and a product imported without Is Physical comes in as not physical, so add the three before you upload. Its handleId column fills Handle on its own, and the handle becomes the product’s web address, so make sure it holds the name from each product’s Wix address.
Variants in their own columns
Wix writes all of a product’s option values into its product row, separated by semicolons, and gives each variant a row below it. Orbit reads an option name and a single value on every variant row, so fill those in and clear the list. The sample CSV in the import dialog shows the layout.
Contacts and past orders
Wix exports up to 50,000 contacts at a time, and your orders, as CSV. Each file has a column mapper of its own on Orbit, and each past order joins the customer with the same email address.
Your old links
Wix product pages sit under /product‑page/ unless you changed it, and Orbit’s under /products/. Load the addresses that rank into the redirect importer before you move the domain, and a handle you rename later gets its redirect on its own.

The product file takes the most care: shape it in a spreadsheet, import it on the trial and check the result. If the site is mostly pages and the shop is the part that moves, the Wix site can stay for the pages.
1. Start the trial

2. Prepare and import products
Export the product list from Wix (5,000 rows a file), add Status, Is Physical and Is Taxable, and put variants in Orbit’s option columns. Upload each file, check the mapped columns and the first product, then import.
3. Import contacts and orders
Export contacts and orders from Wix as CSV, upload them and line up their columns in the mapper. Each order joins the customer with the same email address.
4. Build your pages
Pick one of our free or premium themes and shape it in the page builder, or paste your Wix homepage address into Nebula and it drafts sections in your colours and fonts.
5. Payments and delivery
Switch on Orbit Payments, connect PayPal if you use it, and set carrier-calculated rates or your own shipping rates at checkout.
6. Redirects, then the domain
Load your old product and category addresses into the redirect importer, then point the shop’s domain in a quiet hour. Keep the Wix site for a fortnight as a reference, or for good if it stays your website.

Orbit’s card rate steps down to 1.7% + 25p on Team and 1.5% + 25p on Pro, where Wix’s 2.1% + 20p is the same on every plan, and UK-issued Amex cards cost 3.1% + 20p on Wix Payments against the personal rate on Orbit.
