Caps measured in products and megabytes.

Bluepark publishes its limits openly. They're just worth measuring against your catalogue before you commit.

Bluepark's Retail plan allows 500 products and 500MB of storage; Business allows 2,000 products and 1GB. Only the £64.99 Enterprise plan removes the product cap — and its 2GB allowance expands to a maximum of 12GB at £10 + VAT per gigabyte per month. If your product photography is any good, megabytes go quickly: a catalogue with a few photos per product can outgrow 500MB in its first season, and growing past 500 products means a plan change regardless.

Orbit's plans are £25, £85 and £249 a month, or £19, £64 and £187 billed yearly — with unlimited products on every plan and 100GB to 1TB of storage. Catalogue size, image quality and a good sales year are never the reason your bill changes. Gift cards, abandoned-cart recovery and SEO and blog tools are included, and there's no platform fee on your sales — the published card rate (2%, 1.7% or 1.5% + 25p online, stepping down as you grow) is the whole story.

Design without opening the HTML.

How you change your own site is the difference you'll feel every week.

Bluepark sites are customised through Content Blocks and theme settings, with full HTML, CSS and JavaScript access for anything beyond them. That's real power if you (or your developer) are comfortable in code — and a recurring cost if you're not. Orbit's page builder is drag-and-drop on every plan: sections, layouts, fonts and colours move visually, with the code available underneath when you want it, not required when you don't.

If marketplaces are part of your plan, check the integrations line closely too. Bluepark's native eBay integration is an Enterprise-plan feature, with Amazon and Etsy handled by third-party tools like Linnworks or OnePatch at their own monthly cost. Orbit's Amazon, eBay and Etsy plugins are free on every plan, with listings, stock sync and orders handled natively.

Who should pick which.

Different businesses, different right answers. Here's our honest take.

Choose Orbit Commerce if…

  • Your catalogue is growing — unlimited products and 100GB+ storage on every plan means no cap to plan around.
  • You want to change your own site with a drag-and-drop builder, not HTML edits or a developer retainer.
  • You sell (or want to sell) on Amazon, eBay or Etsy — the plugins are free on every plan.
  • You shoot proper product photography and don’t want to budget megabytes.
  • You want gift cards, cart recovery and subscriptions in the plan, with one published card rate.

Bluepark may fit better if…

  • You want trade/B2B features at a small-business price — theirs are included from £44.99 + VAT a month, with credit accounts and trade-only sites.
  • You want UK phone support on every plan, answered without hold queues.
  • Your catalogue is compact and stable, and the Retail or Business caps genuinely fit it.
  • Unlimited staff accounts matter to you — Bluepark includes them on every plan.

Moving from Bluepark, without losing your rankings.

Switching platforms sounds scarier than it is. Here's what actually moves.

Export your products, customers and orders from Bluepark. Orbit's importer takes CSV or Excel files with as many rows as you have. Products land with variants and images mapped, customers keep their details, and order history comes across for your records. URL redirects are set up as part of the move, so the links that rank on Google today keep resolving afterwards — the part of replatforming that most often goes wrong, made routine.

Run the import from your dashboard and point your domain when you're ready. Or book a free migration call and walk your catalogue through it with our team first. Email and live chat support are included on every plan; see pricing for what each plan includes.
