Release 01 · November 2026

First light.

Everything new on Orbit Commerce since May, in one place: 126 updates across selling, operations, growth, building and teams, told in six chapters.

Six chapters. Start anywhere.

Chapter 01 · 5 updates

Chapter 01. Nebula, at work.

Nebula is the assistant inside your dashboard. Since May it has gone from explaining things to doing them: planning the steps, running them and showing its working.

Live now

Ask for the whole job.

Give Nebula something with several steps and it plans them, shows each task as it runs and sees it through: order operations, report cards built from your own analytics, and copy written in your store’s brand voice. Choose a quick answer or a careful one with the reasoning picker.

Describe a section, watch it build.

In the page builder, one line to Nebula becomes a finished section on your canvas, in your theme’s styles.

Emails that sound like you.

Nebula rewrites subject lines and template copy beside the email editor, in the voice you set once.

Also new in this chapter

  • Bring your own AI assistant

Let Claude or ChatGPT work with your store data, with your permission and within limits you set in Settings.

  • Help beside every tricky field

Plain explanations next to the fields that raise the most questions, with Nebula a click away. The answers use no credits.

  • Alt text written for you

Set a template for product images, or let Nebula describe the ones you upload by hand.

  • Ask from your home page

Type a question into the Nebula bar on your dashboard home instead of hunting for the right page.

Chapter 02 · 25 updates

Chapter 02. Sell to anyone, anywhere.

Businesses on payment terms, shoppers paying in euros, a booking for Thursday at ten. More ways to sell, all from the same store.

Live now

B2B, end to end.

Set up companies with their own locations and contacts, give each one negotiated prices through catalogues and price books, and let them check out on payment terms with Stripe invoicing behind it. Buyers invite colleagues, each with their own permissions and spending limit, and see their company’s orders when they sign in.

Every price, in their currency.

Prices convert on the storefront, shoppers keep the currency they picked between visits, and checkout charges in it.

Bookings, services and subscriptions.

Sell a time slot with a deposit, a service with a calendar download, a digital sample or a subscription plan.

Bundles that pick themselves.

A bundle takes its stock from its parts, splits into them at checkout, and groups them back together on the pick list.

Also new in this chapter

  • Gift cards

Sold through the cart and redeemed at checkout, more than one on a single order if they like.

  • Enterprise Quotes

Price a quote with a validity date, and the buyer accepts and pays at those prices from their account. Enterprise plan.

  • Licence keys

Digital products issue a key per purchase, kept in the customer’s account beside the download.

  • Your store in more languages

Translate your pages and products with AI and add a language switcher in the builder. Basket, checkout and account wording comes in English, French and Spanish.

Chapter 03 · 33 updates

Chapter 03. Run the operation, not the spreadsheet.

For shops that hold real stock and work with real suppliers: bins, counts, purchase orders and returns, all in the dashboard.

Live now

A warehouse in your dashboard.

Plan stock and reorder from suppliers, raise purchase orders and receive them, give every product a bin and print pick lists that walk the shelves in order. Cycle counts take scans, and a batch workbench gets a morning’s orders out together.

Supplier prices, by rule.

Set margins by category on a supplier connection and see how many products a rule will match before you save it.

Returns, decided in a click.

Restock, refurbish or write off what comes back, approve small returns automatically, or refund without asking for the item.

Also new in this chapter

  • Dispatch queue

Every order carries a ship-by date, with due today and late filters to start the morning.

  • Purchase orders by email

Send a PO to the supplier as a PDF straight from the order, and track its approval and payment.

  • Your own carrier rates

Connect your carrier account, ship internationally with a customs review, and show real delivery estimates.

  • Inventory costing

Weighted average cost per product, cost of goods on every order line, and margin reports. Enterprise plan.

Chapter 04 · 13 updates

Chapter 04. Win them once, keep them for good.

Points for coming back, a chat window when they have a question, and emails that look like your shop sent them.

Live now

Loyalty Points.

Customers earn points on every paid order and spend them on rewards you pick. They see their balance and history in their account, you see every customer’s ledger, and an element in the builder shows the programme off.

Loyalty Points is an add-on, with a free trial when you install it.

Live chat and tickets.

A chat widget on your store, a shared inbox, and tickets with two-way email that a chat turns into in one click. The Live Chat app is free for one agent.

Customers, in segments.

Orbit CRM keeps customer relationships next to the orders they came from. Build a segment from rules and use it anywhere.

Every email, in your brand.

Order confirmations and shipping updates on your own templates, subject lines and logo.

Also new in this chapter

  • An affiliate programme

Recruit affiliates, pay recurring commission and settle up each month over Stripe or PayPal.

  • Search that ranks

Relevance-ranked product search with filters on options, brand, tags, price and your own specifications.

  • Easier for search engines

Category pages link properly for crawlers, brands are in your sitemap and product images load first.

  • Google Ads conversions

Send purchases to Google Ads so your campaigns learn from real orders.

Chapter 05 · 31 updates

Chapter 05. Build the store you pictured.

Around thirty new elements, a redrawn theme library, menus that sell and media that moves. Fewer reasons to call a developer.

Live now

Around thirty new elements.

Sticky buy bars, comparison and pricing tables, timelines, flip boxes, marquees, counters, a VAT toggle and more, dragged straight onto the page. Every element can now show or hide by rules, so one page can do the job of several.

A redrawn theme library.

Every theme has a real demo store behind it, so what you preview is what you install.

Menus that sell.

Mega menus with tabs, banners and product cards, and headers that shrink and fade as the page scrolls.

3D, video and sound.

Upload 3D models, Lottie animations, audio and video beside your images. Images turn into WebP on their own.

Buy a domain in Settings.

Search, buy and connect in one go. Certificates are issued and renewed for you.

Also new in this chapter

  • Account and sign-in pages

Design your customers’ account, sign-in and register pages in the builder, like any other page.

  • Scroll effects

Parallax presets and smooth scrolling under Motion, always respecting reduced motion.

  • Theme section packs

Pull any installed theme’s hero or feature strip onto any page.

  • Smarter product grids

Swatches, quick add, image swap on hover and promo banners between the products.

Chapter 06 · 19 updates

Chapter 06. Built for teams, and the agencies behind them.

Two people on one product, roles cut to the job, an activity log that shows what changed, and agencies running many stores from one place.

Live now

Clone a store in one go.

Agencies manage many stores from one dashboard, with shared licensing, seats and billing. Cloning a store copies its sections, plugins and billing set-up from a wizard that shows each step as it happens.

Edit the same product, together.

See who else is on a page, watch their changes, and let saves merge instead of overwriting each other.

Roles cut to the job.

Start from a ready-made role such as Fulfilment or Content, or build your own from scratch.

Also new in this chapter

The dashboard redrawn on our new design system, Constellation, from the sidebar to the smallest dialog.
